Harvesting Sustainability: is there a future for palm oil and soy?
Fostering stakeholder debate on the sustainability of the palm oil & soy value chains
How can Belgium improve sustainability and transparency among international food chains? To answer this complex question, the Belgian Federal Government launched a Beyond Food-strategy in 2020 and conducted a thorough sustainability analysis of the imported agri-food chains of Belgium.
On the 16th of November, the Federal Institute for Sustainable Development (FIDO/IFDD), The Shift and the federal public service Health, Food Chain Safety & Environment are bringing together stakeholders from the agri-food sector to present and discuss these results with a specific focus on palm oil and soy.
